MOMENTUM has full easy access to most Yemeni governorates and districts in the country, with the capacity to arrange all the logistical arrangements for field staff and actual fieldwork.
MOMENTUM has both an ‘administrative’ function and a ‘technical advisory’ function, (50% female and 50% male). The technical expertise include but not limited to (FSL, Nutrition, WASH, Health, Shelter, Protection, Education, C4D, CBIs, Cash and NFIs distribution).
MOMENTUM has a very good understanding of the humanitarian context in Yemen, especially in terms of security, culture, with strong knowledge of Core Humanitarian Standards and Principles.
MOMENTUM has a track record of research work together with the up-to-date pool of collective expertise, where we work with donors, governmental and nongovernmental organizations, to enhance aid effectiveness by providing support in sound planning, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs. We make productive use of internationally developed tools and adapt their form and content to make them appropriate to the local context, and provide sensible advice based on informed understanding of local opportunities and challenges.
Our SOPs are in place for how the field monitors operate, including their interaction with partners, non-state entities and local authorities in the field and their monitoring of and application of the humanitarian principles. MOMENTUM always ensure that its field staff understand the partner mandate, scope of work and partnerships, and that they understand the structure of the data to be collected by using mobile phone technology in data collection and data capturing to track the changes in development interventions.
